PLANT DYE COLOR CHART
Due to the nature of working with plant dyes, slight variations in colors may occur. While we continually strive to be as close to the colors that appear on the screen, unforeseen shifts are sometimes inevitable due to the source of the dyes.
Made to Order garments have a shipping estimate of 3-6 weeks due to the mordant and plant dyeing process.
Plant dyes need mordants in order to fix the color to the fabric. After making your garment, we mordant and let it cure for up to a week. After mordanting, we’re able to dye your garment with your choice of plant (color). This must then be allowed to cure for a few weeks.
Because of this process, it is always ideal to delay your first wash in order for the color to further set, and to always wash with cold water and an organic fabric-friendly detergent in order to ensure your color lasts a lifetime.
